KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Infrastructure & Automation

  2. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application builds, testing, and deployments.

  3. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.

  4. Support infrastructure migration from on-premise to Azure/AWS.

  5. Cloud & Systems Reliability

  6. Deploy, monitor, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

  7. Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud-hosted services.

  8. Implement monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Cloud-native tools.

  9. Security & Compliance

  10. Implement identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability management.

  11. Ensure infrastructure and deployments comply with BSP circulars, AMLA, and Data Privacy Act.

  12. Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response planning.

  13. Collaboration & Governance

  14. Work with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline delivery pipelines.

  15. Participate in Agile ceremonies, Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews, and IT risk assessments.
  16. Maintain documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and audit-related records.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred: Work Experience
  • 3–5 years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
  • Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Technical Proficiency

  2. CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.

  3. Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS (IaaS/PaaS deployments).
  4. Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
  5. Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates.

  6. Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch.

  7. Security & Compliance

  8. Knowledge of OWASP, CIS benchmarks, and cloud security practices.

  9. Familiarity with BSP/AMLA requirements, ISO 27001, and Data Privacy compliance.

  10. Problem-Solving & Reliability

  11. Strong troubleshooting skills in production and distributed systems.

  12. Focused on reducing downtime and automating manual processes.

  13. Collaboration & Communication

  14. Effective teamwork with developers, QA, infrastructure, and compliance teams. Clear documentation and reporting for audits and governance.

  15. Adaptability & Continuous Learning

  16. Ability to quickly adopt new DevOps tools and cloud technologies.

  17. Commitment to continuous improvement in deployment practices
