Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack web applications with a focus on scalable, maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and optimise new features across frontend and backend systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to maintain stability and performance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field, with 1–2 years of professional programming experience.
  • Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript, with experience using backend frameworks such as Laravel, Yii2, or CodeIgniter.
  • Hands-on experience in frontend frameworks/libraries including React, Vue, and Svelte/SvelteKit, plus strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, Sass/Less, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience in API development, database management, and full website/application builds.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services for deployment and hosting.
  • Solid understanding of QA and testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit, Codeception).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and security compliance (Data Privacy Policy, ISMS).
  • Proficient with Git and version control workflows.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A portfolio or demonstrable examples of past work will be highly valued.
