Lead Designer (Construction Projects)

Makati City | Full-time | Hybrid (1 Day WFH)

About the Role

Radix HR is looking for a Lead Designer to head the creative and technical design aspects of construction and fit-out projects. This role blends creativity with practicality—translating client visions into functional, buildable designs while leading a team of designers and collaborating closely with project managers and engineers.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development of design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for construction and fit-out projects.
  • Ensure designs align with project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
  • Translate client needs into creative, functional, and buildable solutions.
  • Review and approve drawings, material boards, and presentations before client submission.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and quantity surveyors to ensure design feasibility and compliance with standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior designers, ensuring quality and consistency across deliverables.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovative design practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in design for construction, fit-out, or real estate development.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both creative design and technical detailing.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (or similar tools).
  • Excellent eye for aesthetics with practical knowledge of construction processes.
  • Strong leadership, client communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Licensed Architect/Interior Designer is a strong advantage.
