About the role

Citicore Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee the development of a large-scale, utility-grade ground-mounted solar power plant. As the Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful and timely completion of this strategic renewable energy project, which is crucial to the company's growth and commitment to sustainable power generation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of construction management experience in utility-scale solar PV projects (ground-mounted, ≥10 MW).
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, balance of plant, grid interconnection, and testing/commissioning.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • Willingness to be based on-site or travel frequently to project locations.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement detailed construction plans, schedules and budgets, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractor services, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, training and performance management.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering, procurement and project management teams to optimize construction workflows.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, implementing contingency plans to address any issues that arise.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all construction activities, reporting progress to senior management.
