Job Summary:

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all civil works related to the construction of the power plant project in Taysan, Batangas. The role involves ensuring that all civil and structural activities are carried out according to design specifications, project timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate civil and structural construction activities on-site.
  • Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with project design, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor daily progress and prepare site reports, documentation, and updates.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Conduct inspections and quality control checks for ongoing and completed works.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues and implementing corrective measures.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide engineering inputs for planning and scheduling.
  • Ensure timely completion of civil works within budget and quality targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Licensed Civil Engineer preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in civil construction, preferably in power plant, industrial, or energy projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structural works, foundations, concrete, rebar, and site development.
  • Familiar with construction standards, QA/QC procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and civil engineering software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Willing to be assigned on-site in Taysan, Batangas.
