Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Oversee various parts of construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and safely. This includes managing subcontractors and coordinating with different teams on-site.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical advice and expertise to construction crews, ensuring that all work complies with engineering standards and specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to ensure that safety regulations and quality standards are met.
  • Documentation: Prepare reports, estimates, and project plans, and maintain accurate records of project progress and costs.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to discuss project requirements and updates.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in construction or engineering roles is often preferred, with a focus on project management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and a strong understanding of engineering principles and construction materials.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage teams effectively and ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues on-site and provide solutions to ensure project continuity.
