Collection Specialist (Work from Home)

Job Type: Full-time / Remote

Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in collections, accounts receivable, or related field

Work Setup: 100% Work from Home

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Collection Specialist to manage and resolve outstanding payments from clients efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate has strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain positive client relationships while ensuring timely collection of receivables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact clients via phone, email, or chat to follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Negotiate and arrange payment plans in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Record and update all communication and payment details accurately in the system.
  • Monitor and manage accounts to ensure payments are made according to terms.
  • Coordinate with the accounting and customer service teams regarding billing discrepancies.
  • Prepare and send collection reports regularly.
  • Handle client inquiries and disputes with professionalism and problem-solving attitude.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies and data protection standards.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Collection Specialist, Accounts Receivable Officer, or in a related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CRM or accounting software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setup.
  • Stable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an Australian, US, or UK-based account.
  • Background in BPO, finance, or administrative support.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles or billing processes.

Work Schedule:

  • TUESDAY TO FRIDAY
  • 5AM TO 6PM PH TIME

Compensation and Benefits:

  • BASIC SALARY: 20,000 PER MONTH
