Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics and Operations Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of deliveries and logistics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing deliveries using various platforms such as Lalamove, Shopify, and other logistic vehicles. This role requires effective coordination across departments to ensure that all deliveries are completed on time and that client and customer orders are fulfilled efficiently. You will play a key role in managing drivers' schedules, ensuring timely pickups from stores, shops, or suppliers, and ensuring that the special instructions for each order are carefully followed.

This is a seasonal role with the possibility of becoming a regular position depending on performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivery and Logistics Management: Oversee all aspects of delivery logistics, ensuring smooth coordination and timely execution of deliveries using Lalamove, Transportify, and other logistics vehicles.
  • Order Management: Manage SFE orders, client orders, and customer orders. Ensure all necessary details and special instructions are accurately encoded into the Daily Production Report (DPR).
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Manage the driver's schedule for pickups and deliveries. Ensure that items, materials, and products are picked up from other stores, shops, or suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Special Instruction Compliance: Ensure that all special instructions for deliveries are communicated clearly and followed accurately during the dispatch and delivery process.
  • Driver Management: Supervise drivers to ensure they are meeting delivery schedules and fulfilling their responsibilities. Monitor driver performance to ensure that all deliveries meet company standards.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for any delivery-related concerns from other departments, clients, and customers. Address issues promptly and work towards effective solutions.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure that all deliveries and pickups are accurately recorded and all items are accounted for during the delivery process.
  • Problem Solving: Handle any unexpected delivery issues, delays, or problems in a timely and effective manner. Work with relevant departments to resolve any challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in logistics, delivery management, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with logistics platforms like Lalamove and Transportify.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead drivers effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of delivery and inventory management processes.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring accuracy in all tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing logistics and deliveries for e-commerce or retail businesses.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and urgent customer demands.
  • Knowledge of basic supply chain and logistics management principles.
