Job Description

As a Director - Business & Tax Advisory, you will lead practice growth, manage client portfolios, and oversee business development objectives. You'll serve as a strategic advisor, mentor emerging leaders, and ensure the delivery of quality outcomes through innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking leadership.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Deep technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting legislation.
• At least 15 years of experience in a corporate or advisory environment.
• CA or CA equivalent qualification.
• Relevant tertiary or post-graduate qualification.
• Up-to-date understanding of taxation law and accounting standards.
• Strong technical and systems capabilities.
• Client-centric mindset with excellent commercial acumen.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Initiative, adaptability, and a passion for continuous learning.

Your Daily Tasks

• Manage a specific service line portfolio or technical area.
• Oversee multiple complex projects, engaging cross-divisional specialists as needed.
• Execute projects with accountability for scope, deadlines, and quality.
• Manage commercial and contractual aspects, including fee proposals and budgets.
• Lead practice areas such as People, Finance, or Market Segments.
• Simplify complex business strategies to identify key priorities.
• Negotiate effectively with clients, regulators, and partners.
• Drive innovative solutions that strengthen business performance.
