Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated
IT Service Delivery Manager
/
Head of Engineering
to take ownership of our IT operations and technology delivery within a fast-paced FinTech environment. This role is ideal for a
self-starter
with a proven background in IT service delivery or engineering leadership within
e-wallet, payments, or financial services
. The successful candidate will be accountable for driving IT project delivery, building and scaling engineering teams, and ensuring the performance and reliability of our platforms.

This is a
hands-on leadership role
with a clear pathway to evolve into a
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
, responsible for shaping and executing the long-term technology strategy of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Technology & Delivery Leadership

  • Take ownership of IT operations, engineering delivery, and technology execution.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and accountability.
  • Build and scale high-performing engineering and IT service delivery teams.
  • Drive operational excellence across infrastructure, application development, and support.

Engineering & Product Development

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable, and reliable fintech platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with product management to prioritize and execute technology roadmaps.
  • Introduce best practices in coding standards, architecture, and DevOps.
  • Champion modern infrastructure adoption (cloud-native, microservices, automation).

Security, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure platforms meet fintech industry and regulatory standards
  • Partner with compliance and risk teams to embed security and data governance into technology operations.
  • Proactively manage risk, uptime, and business continuity.

People & Culture

  • Mentor, coach, and inspire technical teams to achieve high performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, autonomy, and continuous improvement.
  • Attract and retain top engineering talent aligned with the company's mission.

Strategic Growth (Path to CTO)

  • Contribute to shaping the company's technology vision and innovation strategy.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, data analytics, blockchain, fraud detection, risk modeling).
  • Drive initiatives that improve scalability, customer experience, and competitive differentiation.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as
    Head of Engineering, IT Service Delivery Manager, or senior IT leadership
    role in
    FinTech (e-wallets, payments, digital banking, or related sectors)
    .
  • Strong track record of
    delivering IT projects end-to-end
    and managing technology operations at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to take
    ownership, work autonomously, and drive accountability
    within teams.
  • Solid understanding of
    secure systems architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and APIs
    .
  • Deep knowledge of
    financial services regulations
    and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with
    agile methodologies
    and modern engineering practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A

    – capable of scaling teams, systems, and processes from the ground up.
