Job Title: Senior Collections Analyst (US)

Work Setup & Schedule:

  • Hybrid (12AM to 9AM)

What you'll be doing:

  • Business-to-Business Collections: Effectively manage inbound/outbound correspondence and phone calls to collect outstanding accounts receivable balances
  • Root Cause Analysis: Identify underlying issues causing payment delays and develop actionable solutions to mitigate these challenges
  • Account Stage Review: Review Stage 6 and 7 accounts for approval, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
  • Account Reconciliation: Conduct thorough reconciliations to resolve account discrepancies and ensure accuracy in billing.
  • Ticket Handling and SLA Management: Address and resolve billing and collections-related tickets within a standard three-day Service Level Agreement (SLA), ensuring timely and consistent support.
  • Note Tracking and Maintenance: Review, organize, and clean up notes related to collection activities across systems to enhance data clarity and tracking efficiency.
  • Dispute Escalation: Proactively escalate unresolved or disputed concerns to the AR Manager with supporting documentation to expedite resolution.
  • Team Support: Undertake additional duties as assigned to support the billing and collections team and contribute to overall departmental goals.
  • Accounting Software Utilization: Leverage Workday and client's AR/Collections software systems to track and manage accounts receivable.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Manage an assigned A/R portfolio to ensure recovery of outstanding payments and identify any potential bad debt to reduce aged AR in a timely fashion. Active follow-up, documentation of collection activities, and consistent delivery on collections and AR Aging metrics as assigned.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives and Sales teams to gather additional customer contacts and proactively support upcoming renewals.
  • Commercial Collections: Handle collections for commercial accounts, striving for maximum recovery while maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Collection Process Implementation: Adhere to efficient and effective collection strategies to expedite payment recovery and maximize cash flow

  • Strong working knowledge and experience in collections
  • Ability to identify root cause analysis skills to identify and resolve payment delays
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams
  • Experience collaborating with sales, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in collections (SaaS experience preferred)
