Position Description

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our dynamic research team in Manila. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, verifying, and organizing data to support our research efforts. This role is crucial to ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our data, enabling our Research Analysts to focus on high-value tasks such as data analysis and report production.  The role is a full-time, hybrid position that requires regular office attendance (3x per week). This position is based in our Makati City office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on ESG factors, risks, and opportunities across various industries and companies, collect and compile data from a variety of sources
  • Analyze ESG data, trends, and regulatory developments to assess their impact on corporate strategies
  • Assist Research Associates with data-related tasks, verify the accuracy and completeness of collected data, and ensure high-quality standards and deadlines are met
  • Support managers with research and engagement-related tasks and in the execution of campaigns on behalf of institutional investor clients
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Adhere to data privacy and confidentiality policies, ensuring the protection of sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in qualitative or quantitative ESG research and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex ESG issues into clear, practical insights
  • Proficiency in data collection tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • CFA, ESG Investing Certificate, SASB FSA, or other relevant ESG certifications are a plus
