Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Manage and supervise day-to-day purchasing operations to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and pricing.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve any vendor-related issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments to forecast procurement needs.
  • Prepare and analyze purchase reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and legal requirements.
  • Support the Procurement Manager in budget preparation and cost control initiatives.
  • Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new product developments.
  • Mentor and guide procurement staff to enhance skills and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of procurement experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, specifically Oracle, and MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, market dynamics, and sourcing best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
