JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar comprehensive HR role. Given the "Reliever" and six-month term, employers usually seek candidates who can hit the ground running with minimal training.
- Significant experience working in the construction or a related heavy industry environment is highly desirable, as it ensures familiarity with the specific challenges of managing project-based and blue-collar workforces, site safety, and relevant labor practices.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting, particularly for construction-related roles (engineers, site personnel, operators), and managing effective onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Proven ability to manage employee grievances, conduct internal investigations, and advise managers on disciplinary actions and performance management in a fair and objective manner.
- Strong working knowledge of local and national labor laws, employment regulations (e.g., wage/hour, safety standards), and ensuring consistent application of company policies. This is especially critical in a compliance-heavy industry like construction.
