The incumbent shall evaluate, reviews, and consolidates the budget proposals submitted by all departments and ensure accurate and timely generation of monthly departmental results of operations, prepares, and recommends cost analysis evaluation and rate setting.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Participates in the development of the department or section's operational plans.
  • Recommends and implements policies, systems, practices, and procedures that would improve the Section's services.
  • Prepares budgetary guidelines and instructions to be used by departments in the preparation of budget.
  • Supervises the progress of budget preparation and consolidation and adheres to the agreed timeline.
  • Verifies accuracy of data, computations and reasonableness of proposals based on budget assumptions, instructions, and guidelines.
  • Arranges the annual budget presentation to all managers and assures distribution of the approved operating budget.
  • Ensure staff provides accurate and timely financial and statistical data and information.
  • Reviews various reports submitted by assigned operating departments in terms of accuracy and substance of data before submission to DM-FPCSD
  • Submits on time to immediate superior other reports with the relevant review and analysis of the results of financial operations as compared to budgets and forecasts
  • Oversees the release of monthly budget performance report to all concerned managers
  • Assists and guides the requesting units/departments in the variance analysis of revenues and expenses, comparing actual performance versus targets for a deeper understanding on their financial data
  • Facilitates and reports the initial list of departments/units qualified in the periodic performance awards on financial viability and cost management
  • Maintains and updates records of cost factors which are used in preparing costing of products and services
  • Oversees the safekeeping and updating of cost factors, which are used in preparing costing of products and services

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy
  • Preferably Certified Public Accountant
  • At least with two (2) years managerial experience in Budget Management and Costing
  • Willing to work in a hospital industry
  • Willing to work in Taguig City
