Timekeeper

The Timekeeper is responsible for tracking and recording daily labor hours for all personnel on a construction site. This role ensures accurate and timely reporting of attendance, work hours, and productivity to support payroll processing and project cost tracking. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of daily attendance, time-in and time-out of all workers, subcontractors, and staff.
- Input daily time logs into the timekeeping system or timesheets.
- Monitor overtime hours and verify work hours comply with company and labor regulations.
- Coordinate with foremen, supervisors, and HR to ensure all time records are submitted accurately and on time.
- Assist in preparing and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to labor hours and workforce data.
- Support payroll processing by verifying time entries and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all payroll and personnel data.
- Assist with onboarding of new site workers, including badge issuance or access logs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and company policies regarding work hours and breaks.
