About the role
Walls in Motion, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Head to oversee the efficient operation of our distribution centre in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all warehouse activities, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of orders, and maintaining high standards of health and safety. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping and receiving processes
- Oversee the supervision and training of warehouse staff to ensure productivity, efficiency, and adherence to standard operating procedures
- Monitor and analyse warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimise storage and distribution processes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse operations and procedures
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
- Thorough understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and distribution processes
- Proven track record of improving warehouse efficiency and optimising processes
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and data analysis tools
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
