Job Description

  • Ensure hiring procedures for all levels follow Sutherland and Government policies.
  • Work with Hiring Managers and Interview Teams to ensure that job requirements and expectations are clearly understood, and talents are assessed against appropriate criteria.
  • Analyze reports on employment statistics including but not limited to; cost per hire, source of hire and diversity of recruiting initiatives.
  • Plans and evaluates the sourcing methods used to recruit quality candidates.
  • Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and managing performance of direct reports.
  • Negotiates service contracts with third party vendors for temporary staffing, reference checking, and pre-employment drug testing.
  • Ensures a positive new hire on-boarding experience by constantly seeking ways to improve the curriculum, content, methodology, delivery, and process.
  • Respond to and support organizational challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from a four-year college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years BPO experience in the same capacity
  • Must have proficiency with various software applications including Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Experience in managing functional groups
  • Excellent knowledge of HR personnel practices and principles
  • Proficient planning, time management, and decision-making skills
  • Can communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates
  • Capable to generate new ideas and manage them into reality
  • Demonstrates ability to think and act strategically, with the ability to anticipate trends and assess consequences accurately
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, flexibility, diversity, customer service orientation, leadership/coaching skills and team building abilities are essential
