What is the role that we need? Accounting Lead will oversees and manages various accounting functions, often including a team of accountants.

They are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and the overall financial health of the organization.

  • Managing the monthly closing process
  • Performing certain month end closing processes, including Journal Entries for certain accounting cycles
  • Review significant journal entries
  • Review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure that asset balances are properly supported and liabilities adequately reflect obligations
  • Reconcile certain Balance Sheet accounts
  • Prepare / Review various client impactful reports, i.e. Passthrough Expenses, Escrow Balances, etc.
  • To analyze workflows and suggest process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Prepare/review monthly and quarterly variance analysis
  • Any other related processes required by Customer's Finance Accounting Group

Requirements

  • Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Corporate Accounting
  • Has Supervisory experience
  • CPA is a big plus
  • In depth knowledge of GAAP
  • Excellent English, verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to details
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Can work with minimal supervision and can deliver high quality output
  • Must be highly organized and with excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize activities effectively
  • Must be proactive, motivated, detail-oriented, a team player and knows how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics
