Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise and guide a team of finance staff (accountants, analysts, or clerks).
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.

2. Financial Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day financial activities such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and transactions.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

3. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyze variances and provide insights to management for decision-making.
  • Develop reports to track KPIs, costs, and overall financial performance.

4. Process Improvement & Controls

  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Support automation and system upgrades related to financial operations.

5. Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a point of contact between the finance team and other departments.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders when needed.
  • Communicate financial updates and risks to senior management.

6. Strategic Support

  • Assist in long-term financial planning and goal setting.
  • Provide input for investment decisions, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
  • Support management in driving financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
