About the role

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team at ARTECH TECHNOLOGY INC'. This contract position is based in Metro Manila and will involve developing and maintaining robust, scalable web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality Ruby on Rails applications
  2. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code to address complex business requirements
  3. Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment
  4. Troubleshoot and debug issues, and implement performance improvements
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest Ruby on Rails technologies and best practices
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase and development processes

What we're looking for

  1. Significant experience (3+ years) in developing web applications using Ruby on Rails
  2. Proficient in Ruby, Rails, SQL, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  3. Strong understanding of software design patterns, testing methodologies, and agile development practices
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  6. Familiarity with cloud-based deployment and infrastructure management is a plus
