Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Work Setup: Hybrid (2x RTO + 3x WFH; additional onsite during KT)

Location: Taguig City, Manila

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM


About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Developer who can deliver high-quality full-stack solutions, provide technical leadership, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring developers, and working in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain full-stack software solutions using Ruby on Rails and
  • Lead the design and development of complex features and system components.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain high test coverage.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient technical solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers through knowledge sharing, pairing, and code review sessions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in system performance, processes, and tools.

Qualifications
  • 6+ years hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • 5+ years overall experience as a Senior Developer.
  • Strong background in and front-end development.
  • Solid experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL (database design, optimization).
  • Strong knowledge of Git version control and team collaboration tools (GitHub, JIRA).
  • Experience working with web frameworks or SaaS applications.
  • At least 4 years of commercial software development experience.
  • Good understanding of unit testing and TDD principles.

Work Arrangement
  • Hybrid: 2x RTO + 3x WFH weekly
  • Additional onsite days may be required during the Knowledge Transfer period.
