Role Description

As a Software Developer at NYGCI, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions to meet business needs. Your day-to-day tasks will include back-end and front-end development, implementing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, and utilizing frameworks for Model-View-Controller (MVC) and Test Driven Development practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, debug and resolve software issues, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a timely manner. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Metro Manila, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including designing server-side logic and database management.
  • Strong skills in Front-End Development, with experience in creating interactive and user-friendly web interfaces.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and its application in software development.
  • Experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks and implementing Test Driven Development approaches.
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both remote and on-site environments as part of a hybrid team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level software solutions is a plus.
