What you'll be doing

  1. Process payroll for clients, including calculation of wages, deductions, and tax withholdings
  2. Maintain accurate employee records and payroll data
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and legislation
  4. Prepare and submit payroll reports and remittances
  5. Respond to employee inquiries and provide payroll-related support
  6. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts
  7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a payroll specialist or similar role
  2. Strong knowledge of payroll processing, including tax calculations and compliance
  3. Proficiency in using payroll software and spreadsheet applications
  4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  5. Effective communication and customer service abilities
  6. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
