About the Role – Senior Payroll Specialist

The Senior Payroll Specialist ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with government regulations, and employee support regarding compensation-related inquiries. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and expertise in payroll processes and labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing

  • Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll for all employees.
  • Validate timekeeping data, overtime, and deductions.
  • Process adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, final pay, and 13th month pay.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Prepare and file government remittances and reports (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Generate payroll reports for management and audits.

Employee Support

  • Respond to inquiries on salaries, deductions, and payslips.
  • Handle payroll discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with HRBP.

Systems & Data Management

  • Maintain and update payroll records in the system.
  • Support audits and data verification.
  • Recommend improvements for payroll efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of payroll experience, including end-to-end payroll processing.
  • At least 2 years in a team lead or managerial role.
