Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage endto-end payroll processing for our employees. The role involves ensuring accurate payroll computations, compliance with Philippine labor laws and taxation, and handling BIR-related transactions. This is a fully remote position with equipment provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.
  • Manage payroll for a large headcount, maintaining compliance with Philippine labor standards and tax regulations.
  • Prepare, compute, and validate employee salaries, tax deductions, government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and other payroll adjustments.
  • Oversee Philippine taxation processes specific to employee salary taxes.
  • Process and file relevant BIR transactions (e.g., employee registration – BIR Form 1902, issuance of 2316, and other payroll-related forms).
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
  • Utilize payroll software or CRM tools like JeonSoft, or equivalent) to process payroll efficiently.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for employee updates, onboarding, and terminations affecting payroll.
    • Support internal and external audits related to payroll and taxation.
  • (As needed) visit the BIR RDO in Makati for face-to-face transactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years payroll processing experience.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing in the Philippines.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and employee salary taxation.
  • Experience handling payroll for a large volume of employees.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software (JeonSoft, SAP, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for tax computation and payroll accuracy.
  • Experience with BIR processes and forms (1902, 2316, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to visit BIR RDO Makati for transactions if required.
