Key Responsibilities:


• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the solar energy industry focused on ground-mounted utility scale solar construction projects and other engineering and field services related to solar power plant construction.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, contractors, and decision-makers in target markets.


• Develop and execute strategies to promote solar products and services to potential customers.


• Generate new leads through networking, market research, and attending industry events.


• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical departments, to ensure a seamless customer experience.


• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs, providing recommendations for business growth.


• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.


• Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.


• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.


• Stay informed about industry developments, regulations, and emerging technologies to effectively position the company's offerings.


• Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to improve service offerings and messaging.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).


• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the solar or renewable energy industry.


• Strong understanding of solar technology, financing models, and market trends.


• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales management software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).


• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.

Preferred Skills:


• Experience with large-scale commercial and industrial solar projects.


• Knowledge of solar incentives, rebates, and financial structures (e.g., power purchase agreements, tax credits).


• Established network of industry contacts.
