Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and industry regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and company policies.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports with recommendations for prevention.
  • Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees and subcontractors.
  • Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
  • Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation as required by law.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies for inspections, audits, and compliance matters.
  • Promote a culture of safety by actively engaging employees in workplace safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Certified Safety Officer (SO2 or SO3) accreditation is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in safety management within the construction, engineering, or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment procedures, and emergency response planning.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Ability to work in high-risk environments and enforce safety policies effectively.
  • Proficiency in safety documentation and reporting.
  • Willing to conduct on-site safety monitoring and compliance checks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
