A fast-growing global freight forwarding company is hiring a
Financial Accountant.

Duties and key responsibilities

  • Daily Bank Reconciliation and Monthly Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Verification and booking Employee Expense Report and G&A expenses
  • Fixed Assets Booking – Depreciation Cashflow Projection – Weekly
  • Support Finance Manager to supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable
  • Local tax law Compliance (VAT/Corporate tax/GST/WHT) – Reconciled Trial Balance with returns
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation (Prepayment, Accrual, Provisions)
  • Weekly discussion with Sales team and Country Manager on AR and AP Report
  • Preparation of month end and various management reports
  • Assisting in Internal and External Audit Requirement
  • Provide support during Budgets and other Project
  • Other accounting tasks as directed by the Finance Manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' work experience in Accounting or Finance (Freight forwarding industry preferable.)
  • Experience in Financial Accounting, Planning and Analysis essential
  • Degree in Accountancy and preferably pursuing CPA
  • Strong MS Office skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook & Accounting Software
  • Ability to efficiently adapt to new software systems.
  • High attention to detail
