  • The Credit & Collection Supervisor shall ensure proper implementation of existing credit policies and procedure among credit related departments.
  • Recommend credit policies for the improvement of existing policies & procedures.
  • Assist in evaluating credit worthiness of applicants applying for credit line and recommends approval or rejection of application.
  • Follow-up collection of outstanding accounts on cases where it is beyond the capacity of the Credit Assistant/Representative to attain maximum collection.
  • Review the supporting documents attached to the Statement of Account which was forwarded by Accounts Receivables for delivery.
  • Review the High Balance Report and takes an immediate action to secure payments from the guest which are not in accordance with the hotel's credit policy in the absence of the Credit Assistant.
  • Pursue collection of City Ledger accounts which is beyond thirty (30) days.
  • Monitor the City Ledger accounts which will be sent out within three (3) days after check-out.
  • Conduct check and analyze aging of accounts receivables prepared by Accounts Receivable section.
  • Attend to complaints, billing problems and other related matters within the next banking day.
  • Monitor returned checks and follows-up replacement.
  • Recommend write-off of uncollectible accounts.
  • Inform and report directly to the Finance Manager/Credit Manager in all matters affecting credit and collection.
