The Stock Custodian is responsible for handling, organizing, and maintaining the inventory of materials and supplies in the Central Kitchen. This role involves both physical and clerical tasks — from receiving and moving stocks to encoding inventory data in Excel. The position ensures that all stock movements are properly documented and that storage areas are clean, organized, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, check, and record incoming and outgoing stocks, materials, and supplies
  • Handle the physical transfer of items (lifting, organizing, and arranging stocks in storage areas)
  • Maintain accurate and updated inventory records using Excel or other tracking tools
  • Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages
  • Assist in stock replenishment and inventory ingress/egress activities
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of materials and supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the stockroom and storage areas

Qualifications:

  • At least a High School Graduate or Vocational Course Graduate
  • Preferably male (due to the physical nature of the role)
  • With experience in warehouse, inventory, or stockroom operations an advantage
  • Basic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel
  • Physically fit, detail-oriented, and trustworthy
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced kitchen operations environment
