Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Patient Support
  • Assists patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
  • Assists patients to various hospital departments for tests or procedures.
  • Monitors patient comfort and reports concern to nursing staff.
  • Hospital Support Services
  • Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of patient rooms, wards, and corridors.
  • Prepares and transports medical supplies, equipment, and specimens.
  • Assists nursing staff during minor procedures and patient care activities.
  • Safety and Hygiene
  • Follows infection control and safety protocols at all times.
  • Ensures proper handling and disposal of medical waste.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Records basic observations and activities as directed by nursing staff.
  • Reports incidents, accidents, or patient issues promptly.
Other Duties
  • Supports hospital operations as needed, including equipment checks and stock replenishment.
  • Participates in training, drills, and hospital orientation programs.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • License/Certification: TESDA Caregiving NC II or Nursing Aide certificate (preferred)
  • Experience: At least 6 months in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
Skills:
  • Physically fit and able to assist patients
  • Knowledge of basic patient care and hospital hygiene
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
Work Schedule:
  • Shifting schedule including weekends and holidays
