AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

GUEST ROOMS

§ Leads and assume responsibility of room MEP repair and maintenance during Rooms Preventive Maintenance Schedule.

§ Responds to guest calls for assistance and required maintenance works.

§ Conducts walk-around on guest floors and closely coordinate with the Duty Engineer for concerns and required maintenance works.

§ Conducts Functionality Test for guest rooms per given schedule and during VIP arrivals.

PLANT & UTILITIES, KITCHEN and LAUNDRY

§ Maintains operating equipment in working condition by performing routine equipment checks and repairs. Closely coordinate with the Duty Engineer for operations irregularity.

§ Complies with the Electrical Safety regulations to ensure safe work practices.

§ Implements and maintains electrical, mechanical and kitchen equipment preventative maintenance programs.

§ Repairs and maintains kitchen and laundry housekeeping equipment.

§ Demonstrates familiarity with the hotel's fire safety system and take corrective action on any maintenance or operating problems which affect the security or operating condition of the hotel.

PUBLIC AREA

§ Conducts routine inspection in guest areas to detect required repair and maintenance works such as but not limited to busted lights, paint touch ups, warm area temperatures, swimming pool water testing, background music, ceiling leaks and condensation etc.

§ Performs MEP preventative maintenance both the front and heart of house.

§ Maintains the condition of hotel lobbies and restaurants.

§ Repairs furniture and decorations as necessary and evaluate if repair works will need an expert contractor.

GENERAL

§ Performs other tasks as directed.

§ Reports any hazards or injuries in the department or hotel and takes immediate action to correct.

§ Maintains and assist in the cleanliness of individual work area.
