Job Title: Automotive/Driver Technician

Job Summary:

The Automotive Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role requires strong technical expertise in automotive systems, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The technician works closely with service advisors and customers to deliver high-quality service and ensure vehicle reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Repair or replace worn or defective parts in engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and steering mechanisms.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential safety or performance issues.
  • Follow manufacturer repair procedures and use appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Maintain detailed service records and update job cards or maintenance reports accurately.
  • Test vehicles after repairs to ensure problems have been corrected.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools.
  • Comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and service advisors regarding job progress and any additional repair needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training or certification required.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or driver technician.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and repair equipment effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in various positions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license, Restriction 1,2, and 3 (ABC), and clean driving record.

Work Location:

- Brgy. Bagumbayan, Quezon City, near Eastwood/Libis or St. Pio

Work Schedule

  • 6 days per week, rotation day off
