What is your mission?

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator with experience in construction, glazing, or façade systems. In this role, you will be responsible for performing accurate material takeoffs, generating competitive bids, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure precise pricing and timely submissions. This position plays a key role in supporting the sales and project management teams by delivering well-prepared and profitable project estimates.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Download bid documents from online platforms and analyze project specs

  • Perform material takeoffs for glazing systems, including Kawneer storefronts, curtain walls, and specialty glass

  • Enter bids into Kawneer PartnerPak or generate custom quotes for non-standard systems

  • Communicate with suppliers (e.g., bulletproof glass vendors) to get pricing and lead times

  • Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure bid accuracy and timeliness

  • Keep organized records of quotes, bid documents, and supplier correspondence

Who are we looking for?

  • 2+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in glazing or facade systems

  • Proficient with takeoff tools like Bluebeam or PlanSwift

  • Strong understanding of storefronts, curtain walls, and specialty glazing systems

  • Average or better communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
