We're seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented HR Assistant.

The HR Assistant will provide essential support in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulations. This role involves handling employee records (including 201 files), statutory reporting, and assisting in the implementation of HR policies, programs, and processes in accordance with Philippine labor laws. The HR Assistant will also collaborate with other departments to ensure that HR practices support both employee welfare and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. DOLE Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

  • Ensure company policies and practices are aligned with DOLE regulations and labor standards.
  • Prepare, maintain, and submit mandatory DOLE reports (e.g., compliance reports, employment records, workplace safety requirements).
  • Monitor updates in Philippine labor laws and advise management on necessary adjustments to company policies.
  • Coordinate with government agencies (DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR) for statutory compliance.

2. Employee Records & 201 File Management

  • Maintain and update employee 201 files, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and confidentiality of records.
  • Ensure all employment contracts, government documents, performance reviews, disciplinary records, and other required documents are properly filed.
  • Conduct regular audits of 201 files to ensure compliance with DOLE requirements.

3. HR Operations & Employee Relations

  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and company rules.
  • Support employee relations activities by addressing basic HR inquiries and escalating issues as needed.
  • Help ensure harmonious labor-management relations and compliance with disciplinary procedures.

4. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process: job posting, screening, interviewing, and documentation.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure compliance with pre-employment requirements.

5. Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Provide support in processing payroll inputs and ensuring timely government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Assist in employee benefits administration, ensuring compliance with statutory benefits and company policies.

6. HR Reporting & Support

  • Prepare HR-related reports for management and government submission.
  • Provide administrative support for training, performance management, and employee engagement programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of HR experience, with proven knowledge of DOLE compliance, labor law implementation, and 201 file management.
  • Familiarity with HR statutory processes and government-mandated benefits administration.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
