Project Manager

ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to lead and optimize operational performance across our service and manufacturing functions. This role is pivotal to ensuring the smooth execution of projects, efficient resource management, and operational excellence at the company, a leading provider in the fire apparatus industry.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, strategic oversight, and a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations. A background in fabrication, truck manufacturing, or vehicle repair is highly preferred, along with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement in service delivery, project timelines, and operational standards.

WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time, follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform the following tasks related to remote operations oversight:

• Coordinate daily operations across service, repair, and fabrication functions remotely

• Maintain visibility into key workflows, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in scheduling, staffing, and supply chains
• Develop and implement systems for tracking project progress, technician workload, and resource utilization

• Perform the following project management tasks:

• Lead multiple fabrication and repair projects from inception to completion, managing remote timelines, team coordination, and documentation

• Collaborate with service writers and technicians to align quotes, parts, and labor to delivery expectations
• Track deadlines and milestones, ensuring all projects stay on schedule and budget

• Perform the following tasks related to process optimization:

• Identify and implement improvements in operational processes, SOPs, and communication workflows

• Establish performance metrics and analyze reports to drive decision-making and operational efficiency
• Coordinate with in-shop team leads to ensure compliance with project scopes, safety standards, and customer expectations

• Perform the following tasks related to team and stakeholder coordination:

• Serve as a central point of contact between management, service teams, and remote support staff

• Facilitate weekly team check-ins, reporting updates, and ensure accountability on deliverables
• Build strong relationships with US-based managers and shop floor teams through clear and consistent communication

• Perform the following tasks related to reporting and administration:

• Prepare and present project updates, operational dashboards, and performance summaries

• Maintain detailed documentation of project schedules, status updates, and service outcomes
• Assist in onboarding new remote team members into operational systems and workflows

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in operations management and/or project management, preferably in a fabrication, truck manufacturing, or repair industry setting
• Experience in lean processes or operational improvement methodologies is a plus
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, ) and reporting software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or dashboards)
• Strong background in managing operational workflows remotely
• Exceptional leadership and time management skills
• Strong English communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical teams
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, offshore capacity with US-based stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of accountability in a virtual environment
