We are seeking a driven, resilient, and results-focused Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our fast-growing team. This role is remote and requires someone who thrives in a high-performance, target-driven environment.
Role Overview
The SDR is responsible for generating qualified leads and booking meetings for our Account Executives and Sales Managers. You will be on the front lines of outbound sales, engaging prospects via email, LinkedIn, phone, and social channels.
This role requires consistent daily activity, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to follow a proven sales process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Research and identify target leads across industries using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and internal CRM lists.
- Build and maintain lead databases, segmented by region, industry, and decision-maker level.
- Personalise outreach based on prospect pain points, digital presence, and business goals.
2. Outbound Outreach
- Execute multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and phone calls).
- Send 100–200 personalised cold emails daily using sequencing tools (SmartReach, Instantly, etc.).
- Make 40–60 outbound calls per day to engage decision-makers (founders, CMOs, marketing managers, talent agents, etc.).
- Follow a structured 12-step follow-up process to maximise response rates.
3. Lead Qualification
- Engage prospects to understand needs, challenges, and budgets.
- Use qualification frameworks such as BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) or MEDDIC.
- Identify which leads are sales-ready vs nurture-ready, ensuring Account Executives spend time on high-quality opportunities.
4. Meeting Booking & Pipeline Growth
- Consistently book daily/weekly meetings for Account Executives.
- Maintain CRM hygiene (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or ECG's CRM).
- Update notes, track prospect engagement, and ensure accurate reporting of pipeline activity.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with Sales Managers and AEs to optimise outreach messaging and campaigns.
- Attend daily sales huddles and weekly pipeline reviews.
- Provide end-of-day reports with numbers: outreach volume, responses, meetings booked, and pipeline status.
Requirements
Work Schedule
- Full-time role with flexibility, but must overlap at least 4–6 hours daily with UK working hours
- Must be available for daily check-ins, huddles, and client follow-ups.
Technical Setup
- Working computer/laptop with high processing speed.
- Stable internet connection (at least 20mbps, with backup).
- Headset and quiet environment for calls.
Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of SDR, BDR, or telemarketing experience (agency or SaaS preferred).
- Strong cold calling and cold emailing experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (fluent and professional).
- Resilient, target-driven, and comfortable handling rejection.
- Skilled at using outreach platforms, CRMs, and productivity tools.
- Strong research skills to identify and personalise outreach.
Performance Expectations
- Daily Activity Targets:
- 100 emails sent
- 100 calls made
- 25–50 LinkedIn connections/messages
- Weekly Goals:
- 20+ qualified meetings booked
- 300+ new leads researched and added to CRM
- Quarterly Goals:
- Consistent contribution of £20,000+ in pipeline per month to AEs
- Maintain 95%+ CRM accuracy
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in marketing, advertising, or digital agencies.
- Familiarity with UK, US, and global business cultures.
- Knowledge of AI tools for prospecting, research, or email personalisation.
- Prior experience working night/graveyard shifts (for PH-based applicants).
