The Senior HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring that HR policies, programs, and practices are effectively implemented. This role provides guidance and supervision to HR staff, supports management in decision-making on people-related matters, and ensures compliance with labor laws and company standards. The Senior HR Supervisor plays a key role in driving employee engagement, organizational development, and workforce efficiency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Operations & Compliance
- Supervise and manage day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, timekeeping, and payroll coordination.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and internal company policies.
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Monitor workplace policies to ensure fair and consistent application across the organization.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances, resolving conflicts fairly and promptly.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct employee counseling, disciplinary actions, and performance discussions as needed.
- Lead and coordinate employee activities, recognition programs, and culture-building projects.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.
- Support in designing and implementing training and development programs.
- Mentor and guide HR staff to ensure professional growth and alignment with HR best practices.
- Support managers in performance evaluation processes and goal-setting initiatives.
- Recommend strategies for organizational improvement, productivity, and efficiency.
- Assist in succession planning and career development frameworks.
- Provide HR metrics and reports to management for decision-making.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws, HR policies, and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in HRIS, MS Office applications, and HR-related systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
