Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Attendant Captain oversees the daily operations of the restaurant's dining area, ensuring excellent guest service and smooth coordination among the FOH team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Food and Beverage Attendants during shifts.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor table assignments, guest seating, and service flow to maintain efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate daily specials, promotions, and service reminders.
  • Assist in training, coaching, and evaluating team members to maintain high performance and service standards.
  • Ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and readiness of dining areas before and after service.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, guest feedback, and operational reports as required.
  • Enforce company policies on hygiene, grooming, and service procedures.
  • Support management in inventory checks, requisitions, and stock control for F&B supplies.
  • Perform service duties when necessary, including taking orders and serving guests during peak hours.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related course is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Food and Beverage service, with 1 year in a supervisory or captain role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of restaurant service standards and food safety practices.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
  • Neat and well-groomed appearance with a positive and professional attitude.
