Responsible for forecasting and planning of order requirements of the assigned sub class or vendors based on the planogram matrix. Creates and monitor purchase orders, and measures service level of suppliers. Manages inventory and ensures complete stocks availability.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PLANNING AND FORECASTING

  • Plans and computes order requirements of all planogram items based on demand

  • Manages forecasting and demand planning with merchandising, marketing services and operations for upcoming promotions, business shifts, and seasonality affecting supply and demand.

  • Facilitates and drive weekly review of demand versus Forecast and stock availability

NEW PRODUCT PIPELINE

  • Establish a distribution and inventory target per store level of new models

DIRECT TO STORE

  • Ensure stock distribution and availability of products that are directly delivered by vendor to store

ORDER MANAGEMENT

  • Process purchase orders aligned with inventory policy

  • Monitors created purchase orders and measures service level of suppliers in terms of quantities served and delivery timeliness in Distribution Center

  • Manages capacity challenges and lead communication to across Supply Chain and other Departments concerned

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

  • Manages inventory levels to target expectations and customer service availability agreements

  • Monitors aging stocks and obsolete inventory in Distribution Center, and discusses action plans with Merchandising team to improve days cover and achieve company goals.

o Ensures stocks availability of the assigned category in the Distribution Center

VENDOR MANAGEMENT

  • Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations with the suppliers.

  • Discuss planned/campaign product promotions in order to produce more accurate forecasts.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Must be a BS Industrial Engineering or BS Math

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php21, Php25,000.00 per month
