The Opportunity:

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Creative Specialist to join our dynamic Communications Business Solutions team. The Creative Specialist will be supporting the Static Graphics and Presentations workstream with a strong focus on Information Design. The ideal candidate should be proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud programs and Microsoft PowerPoint in delivering high-quality, visually engaging projects within tight deadlines. This role requires flexibility to work across different time zones. He/She will be instrumental in developing creative solutions across all touchpoints and channels, further developing our brand and company messaging, ensuring brand consistency and providing multimedia design to support impactful storytelling. As part of a multicultural team, you will get to work closely and own relationships with key internal stakeholders at all levels across the globe, visually maintaining and aligning with Hitachi Energy's brand identity.

How you'll make an impact:

• You will be involved in end-to-end conception, planning, organizing and executing creative design projects.

• You will be understanding and managing design-related requests, in the context of the overall brand development and organizational storytelling.

• You will proactively manage internal stakeholder requests and work with design operations and partner agencies to meet deadlines diligently, continuously improve and streamline team processes.

• You will create and advise on visual concepts, communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate customers, provide training on brand strategies and touchpoints ensuring that internal stakeholders and externals resources understand brand guidelines and produce high quality variety of digital and printed design, aligned with our corporate image.

• You will ensure all design work aligns with the brand identity and maintains consistency with our brand guidelines.

Your background:

• Relevant tertiary education background, with about 3- 5 years of experience in graphic design

• Proven experience in multimedia design, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft PowerPoint

• Proficiency with PowerPoint tools (master slide layouts, align tools, format painter, etc.). Strong graphic design and desktop publishing skills with a keen eye for detail and consistency.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, flexibility to work across different time zones.

• Familiarity with video editing software like Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects are a plus. Strong interest in company brand identity and business communications.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts clearly, ability to story tell is highly desired – able to turn complex idea into something simple.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; other languages are a plus.
