Job Description:

  1. Preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements and other financial reports.

  2. Ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

  3. Preparing the monthly journal entries, performing reconciliations, processing, and reviewing data to maintain the integrity of financial records.

  4. Manage bank reconciliations, lapsing schedules, and prepayments schedules.

  5. Prepare calculations for landed costs.

  6. Review and verify payment requests, payment vouchers, and upload fund transfers to the bank's portal.

  7. Preparing and submitting all tax filings, including income tax, withholding tax, VAT, tax clearance, and other statutory requirements such as SEC GFFS.

  8. Assist with financial and regulatory audits by supporting the preparation and submission of required documents.

  9. Assist the Finance and Accounting Manager with the application for bank credit facilities (LC/TR).

  10. Maintain and monitor online banking activities, including uploading payments to suppliers, employee cash advances and liquidations, and managing e-government transactions.

  11. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field; CPA preferred

  2. At least 7 years of accounting experience.

  3. Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with QNE Accounting Software is an advantage.

  4. Knowledgeable about Philippine tax laws, including withholding tax, VAT, and corporate income tax.

  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  7. Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

  8. Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
