About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team at China Banking Corporation (CBC) in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time role that will provide vital support to our Accounting department. As Accounting Assistant, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance function.

What you'll be doing

  1. Processing invoices, expense claims and other accounting transactions
  2. Reconciling bank statements and accounts
  3. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and analysis
  4. Providing administrative support to the Accounting team
  5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
  6. Supporting the implementation of accounting policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  2. Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  3. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  4. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  6. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  7. Banking or financial services experience preferred
