Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines Frontline Accounting Full time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Intermediate Accountant with 2-3 years of experience to support our finance and accounting operations. This offshore position involves working closely with the onshore team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting reconciliations.
  • Prepare Financial Statements and BAS preparation
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Year-end reporting for payroll
  • Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with onshore finance team members.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    .
  • 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
     (preferably in a shared service or offshore setting).
  • CPA or equivalent certification (completed or in progress) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero & MYOB).
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
  • Experience of working with international clients or teams.
  • Familiarity with time zone coordination and remote collaboration tools (Teams etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)

Work Arrangement:

Onsite during probationary period then WFH after regularization
