About the Role

The Staff Accountant is a key contributor to the company's financial operations and overall business integrity. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant financial records, supporting month-end and year-end closings, and ensuring all accounting activities align with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

You'll work closely with the Controller and Accounting Team to strengthen internal financial controls, drive operational accuracy, and uphold the organization's commitment to excellence. The role also supports continuous improvement efforts within the department by proactively identifying process efficiencies and ensuring that accounting practices remain consistent with best-in-class standards.

What you'll do

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger and journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Perform and review bank reconciliations to confirm cash accuracy and investigate variances.
• Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely transactions.
• Support the Controller in financial audits, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and participate in special projects to enhance financial insights and decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting-related matters and strengthen internal financial processes.
• Uphold company policies and contribute to a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Education: Associates or equivalent preferred, but a combination of education, skills, and experience will be considered.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of Accounting experience, including journal and general ledger entries, and reconciliations. Experience in related industries is a plus.

• Skills:

• Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Integrity & Teamwork.
