About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Staff to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your knowledge and experience in both accounting, payroll and taxation while working in a collaborative and professional environment.
As part of the finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the preparation of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant government regulations. You will also assist with audits, reconciliations, and other core accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and general ledger entries
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare and file tax returns and regulatory compliance reports in accordance with BIR, PEZA, SEC, and other relevant government agencies' requirements.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
Handle end-to-end payroll preparation and processing.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and systems
- Use accounting software to manage and track financial transactions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience with accounting software and bookkeeping practices
Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of finance principles
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency—or willingness to develop proficiency—in preparing financial statements
