Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Job Summary:

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for handling daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The role includes computing and processing taxes for both the company and its employees in accordance with government requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and record accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions
  • Prepare payment vouchers, billing statements, and official receipts
  • Compute, prepare, and file company taxes (e.g., income tax, withholding tax, VAT/percentage tax, expanded withholding tax)
  • Compute employee-related taxes and statutory deductions, including withholding tax on compensation
  • Prepare and remit government-mandated contributions and reports (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
  • Ensure timely filing and payment of taxes and government remittances
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
  • Prepare financial reports, tax schedules, and audit support documents
  • Ensure compliance with BIR regulations, company policies, and internal controls
  • Maintain organized and complete accounting and tax records
  • Coordinate with HR, management, auditors, and government agencies as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field
  • At least 1–2 years of accounting or tax-related experience (fresh graduates may be considered)
  • Knowledge of Philippine taxation and labor-related government contributions
  • Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php25,000.00 per month
