HR Generalist


Role Overview

Serve as Genteel Home's pillar of HR operations—managing the full employee lifecycle and reinforcing our values in every process. You'll ensure smooth administrative workflows while fostering a supportive, design-centric culture aligned with our mission of elevating Filipino craftsmanship globally.


Key Responsibilities

End-to-End HR Administration

  • Execute recruitment activities: post jobs, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and onboard new team members.
  • Maintain precise employee files, personnel records, and HRIS documentation.
  • Oversee payroll coordination, leaves, benefits, and HR-related documentation compliance

Policy & Compliance

  • Administer and update HR policies in line with labor laws and best practices.
  • Support internal audits and government compliance (e.g., DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth).
  • Handle staff relations professionally and confidentially, escalating issues when necessary

Employee Engagement & Performance

  • Support performance management and evaluation cycles.
  • Organize employee engagement activities and orientation sessions to embed our design-driven, values-oriented culture.
  • Assist in exit processes with sensitivity and data-driven exit interviews.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Generate HR metrics—turnover, time-to-hire, attendance—to guide strategic decisions.
  • Recommend improvements to HR practices based on data, feedback, and benchmarks.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of generalist HR experience—preferably within creative, design, or manufacturing contexts.
  • Hands-on knowledge of local labor laws and statutory filings.
  • Experience with HRIS tools, payroll processing, and performance management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with high confidentiality standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Time-to-fill and onboarding completion rates.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of HR documentation.
  • Engagement metrics from surveys or participation in company events.
  • Compliance audit results and absence of legal discrepancies.
  • HR data reporting integrity and actionable insights provided.

Work Schedule & Benefits

Working Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
