Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate posting of transactions.
  • Assist in handling collection agency-related accounting functions, such as tracking collections, commissions, remittances, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Assist in payroll processing, benefits, and employee records.
  • Maintain and update accounting data and generate reports for management as needed.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
  • Collaborate with management to streamline accounting procedures and improve financial processes.
  • File and pay taxes
  • Assist in other ad hoc task.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience as a General Accountant or equivalent role.
  • Experience in a collection agency or similar financial services environment is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Sprout HRIS and QuickBooks Online/Desktop is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
